PRIMAR Distributor Seminar 2011

Nearly 35 representatives from 20 different companies came to the Danish capital on 5 May 2011, to share experiences and expectations for the future in a full day seminar for PRIMAR's distributors.

The announcement of mandatory chart requirements has brought about a step-change in the overall understanding of what is official and unofficial.

ECDIS

The marketplace is much more knowledgeable with distributors, chart agents and shipping companies beginning to systematically plan the introduction of ECDIS and ENC logistics into their organizations, including hardware acquisition and an appropriate focus on training.

Data for all

Working through authorised distributors, PRIMAR provides the maritime community with an ENC service known for its quality, user-friendliness and overall contribution to global maritime safety and efficiency. Our core aim is to make data available to everyone at a reasonable cost, and to enable value creation and safety at sea.

Freedom to choose

We want our distributors to have the freedom to be themselves. That is why we give them the option to choose their tools and to create customised solutions which suit their own business.

Maritime safety

PRIMAR truly believes that the story of ENCs has barely started. Future progress will raise safety and efficiency for seafarers to levels which cannot even be imagined today.

We want to play a part in this future, and will do so clearly focused on cooperation, safety, cost efficiency and user-friendliness to support the maritime community in achieving success today and in the future.
